I teach English to elementary school kids in Japan and most of my reading for the last decade has been news and science magazines. I had never read the books before I saw Jackson's FotR on March 9th. I bought the books a couple of weeks later and after reading FotR I HAD to see the movie again and then I finished reading the whole trilogy twice through before starting to write this story a month ago.
